Cool off with a good swim, and Hickory Lake Campground is a great location for tent camping. Of course there are restrooms here, and a glorious restaurant that serves very glorious meals is offered. There's a cool playground here at Hickory       Lake Campground to keep the kids positive. There is a washing machine room for you to utilize. At the gameroom you could play some amusing games; many cool video games may be played at the arcade. There are RV hookups for your   RV here, and for folks who like to play horseshoes this is an excellent place. Don't forget your fishing pole as this place has some pleasant fishing. Needless to say there are showers at this campground, and you can take that old cat to Hickory Lake Campground because you are permitted to take pet animals. Everybody enjoys Shawnee Mountain and its 125 acres of skiable area. 75% of the trails are blue and green while 25% of them are hard and appropriate for expert skiers. There are 23 trails to choose from and 9 good ski lifts at the close by ski area Shawnee Mountain. Shawnee Mountain gets on average 4 feet of wonderful snow per year and has a perfect 700-foot elevation difference.   The Flicksville to mouth segment is a good 6-mile-from-beginning-to-end class II-III part of whitewater on Martins Creek.
