However, we were in a tent, and the gale force winds were NOT fun. We were also on the A loop, and by the train tracks. There were at least 20 trains a day, and many at night (whistling and all). On a positive       note, the playground was nice, and the camp hosts were friendly. We did leave a day early, and noticed many other people did not stay for their entire reservations :( Says Windswept (Sat, 21 Aug 2010) There are glorious tent   sites here where you can raise that tent of yours; swimming at Memaloose State Park is fine exercise and a great deal of merriment too. Everyone should go hiking sometimes, and Memaloose State Park is a glorious place to do that. There's of course a pool here where you can take a delightful dip, and in the event that you happen to be a wind surfer, there's great wind surfing here. Obviously there are restrooms here, and bait and tackle is offered at this campground. You may golf here; of course there are showers at this campground. There are glorious comfortable cabins here, and Memaloose State Park is a good setting for RV-ing. A nature trail is at your disposal for your hiking pleasure, and   bring your fishing hat given that the fishing is wonderful at Memaloose State Park.
