The 17 acres of skiing area at Appalachian Mountain is esteemed by skiers from far and near. Appalachian Mountain has 35% hard ski trails and 65% easy ski trails. Appalachian Mountain close by is a good ski resort; it receives 4 feet of ice cold   snow per year; it has 9 ski trails, 5 lifts, and a fine 365-foot height difference.
