    Great Smoky Mountains. 3 feet of wonderful snow fall annually on the 740-foot elevation difference of Cataloochee, the nearby ski area. Cataloochee has 10 trails and 4 ski lifts. Cataloochee has 25 acres of ski terrain; 25% of the
 trails are red and black while 75% are blue and green. Cataloochee has fine trails to match any ability. The Willets-Ochre Hill to Addie section on Scotts Creek is a nearby class III-IV(V) whitewater stretch, 2 miles in length. The beginners should most likely stay away from this stretch of Scotts Creek. Naturally, whitewater rafting and kayaking is amusing but treacherous; check the latest conditions in advance of a trip. If you want to check out some attention-grabbing animals, take a look at Coggins & Coggins while you're here at Meadowbrook Resort. Everyone enjoys a nice game of mini golf at Fantasy Golf; Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a good place nearby. This campground is always a delight.  
Maggot Spring Gap is in close proximity to Meadowbrook Resort and is definitely a good spot to visit; catch good size fish at nearby Tuckaseegee Outfitters.
