All tent sites have water, electricity, a picnic table and a fire ring. RV hookups are available - Full service:  water, electric, sewage, picnic table and fire ring.  3 - 50 amp sites, 22 - 30 amp sites open year round. Pets are allowed - Must be on a leash at all times. Can not be left in the campground unattended. The owners of aggressive or nuisance animals will be asked to leave. Campfires are allowed - We have metal fire rings on every site.  We also sell firewood. Grocery store nearby - The Ingles grocery store is less than 1 mile away. No pool - We do have a fishing pond. The gameroom is enjoyable for everyone. You are allowed to have a campfire at this campground. Hitching Post Campground is positioned in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The helpful operators of the campground and all the cool stuff makes the spree here worthwhile. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something   that is likely to happen.
