Lots of rocks and roots everywhere. Bathrooms and showers are so poorly maintained that 2 of the 3 toilets were plugged up most of the time and no toilet paper is a common event. The showers are very small, moldy, and just plain gross. I was not impressed with the high prices for such rough conditions. Won't return to this campground again. THEY WERE DISGUSTING!!! Says Anonymous (Tue, 14 Aug 2012) Visiting the Adirondack mountains? Whispering Pines campground can   offer you a really nice and comfortable place to stay. Olympic site tours are available. This is also a good place to stay if you would like to hike, swim or hunt. Contact the campground for more details and reservations. Whispering Pines is good for both RV's and tents. It has a nice forest feel but it also has all the amenities you would expect from a good campground such as showers and a store. There are also cabins for rent. Says Anonymous There are showers here at Whispering Pines Campground, and if you love comfort, there are fine cabins here. Needless to say there are restrooms here, and a store is offered for your convenience at this campground.
