Ski down the 22 slopes of West Mountain; this ski hill has an elevation difference of 1,010 feet. West Mountain has 5 great ski lifts and gets on average 7 feet of snow every year. On close by Hudson River you come upon a grade I sweep of whitewater; the Feeder Dam to Glens Falls portion is 2.15 miles long. The experienced whitewater paddlers should almost certainly stay away from this sweep of Hudson River. You should check restrictions before you go; whitewater boating may turn dangerous. Everyone loves an outstanding game of mini golf at Exit 17 Golf; what would winter be without some skiing   at West Mountain.
