This segment of Ashuelot River - South Branch   is appropriate for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for a while but who are not yet set for the exceptionally treacherous rapids. Of course, whitewater kayaking or rafting is cool but treacherous; check restrictions prior to departure. A glorious game of mini golf is always exciting at 202 Driving Range, and the White Arrow Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Going to Monadnock State Park in close proximity to State Line Campground is a good thing to do. Play a little game of mini golf at Twinkletown Miniature Golf & Batting Cages near State Line Campground; if you're popping by from Troy, you won't be the only one.
