Nearby there is a great 0.5-mile-long type II-III whitewater sweep, the Truckee River Whitewater Park Reno sector of Truckee River. If you hold a bit of whitewater rafting or kayaking know-how, this sector of Truckee River could be a great place for you. If you are going whitewater rafting or kayaking, you should always check current conditions. For all you boaters, Sparks Marina   RV Park is a great marina around here.
