Paddling a canoe is a good way to experience the vista here, and swimming at Ausable River Primitive is great exercise and a good deal of pleasure too. The nice restaurant makes fantastically flavorsome things to eat, and going for a good hike is always amusing here. In case you love comfort,       there are delightful cabins here at Ausable River Primitive. On a good day at Ausable River Primitive you could enjoy a good barbeque at the picnic area. There is lodging where you could stay the night in wonderful comfort; obviously   you may discover a pleasant pool here, so you may swim a few laps. Horseback riding is available at this campground. There is a supermarket in the vicinity where one could buy groceries; don't forget your fishing pole in view of the fact that this place has some great fishing. Ausable River Primitive gets a good deal of water. Through November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Ausable River Primitive. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
