Ok, you've been cooped up too long, you've gotta get out, and South Inlet Campground is a good local campground if you happen to be in Maine. Among the things you can do in the vicinity of South Inlet Campground are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored. Loads of people stay at this campground to be close to Lily Bay State Park. Going       camping for a couple of days here in Maine is something you ought to do. So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. The workforce who's always there to assist and the magnificent   quality of everything here are reason enough to come here. The Lower Wilson Pond to Bodfish Crossing section on Big Wilson Stream is a nearby type IV-V whitewater run, 9 miles long. For skilled raft paddlers this run of Big Wilson Stream is an amusing site to raft. Unsurprisingly, whitewater rafting or kayaking is exciting but dangerous; check conditions ahead of going. Lakes? Sure, First Roach Pond is in the neighborhood, and a trip to Lily Bay State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. While you're here at South Inlet Campground you can take a hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail, and Peaks-Kenny State Park is a tremendous place to stop at on a pretty day.
