South Bay Campground, Maine     Custom Search   This was my 1st camping trip in many years. We stayed 3 nights with no problems. The grounds were quiet, well maintained and many sites had a beautiful view of the tidal inlets with no view of the neighbors. We plan to return. As if South Bay Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling,       so you won’t get bored. A lot of folks stay here in order to be in the vicinity of Roosevelt Campobello International Park. If you are in Maine throughout camping season, you should go camping. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to   do close to South Bay Campground, and if you're trying to find a perfect spot to go camping for a couple of days, this is a good selection. The Dennys Bay to Cobscook Bay portion, a whitewater run on Cobscook Falls is 0.5 miles in distance. This close by run of whitewater is a category II-III. It could be said that this run of Cobscook Falls is a location for fun paddling. Check the situation before you go on the whitewater, otherwise it's not safe. A spree to Lubec Neck close to South Bay Campground is always a great idea; folks from Lubec love to come here. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a good place near South Bay Campground, and dropping by Cobscook Bay State Park is   a perfect thing to do. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer.
