acres of skiable terrain at Titcomb consist of demanding ski slopes. But there are perfect ski slopes for children and novices as well; 67% of the ski slopes are beginner and intermediate. Titcomb, the close by ski area has a drop
| | of 350 feet; this ski area has 2 lifts, and 9 feet of snow yearly covering its 15 ski slopes. The close by grade II-III, 6-mile-from-beginning-to-end Farmington Falls to New Sharon segment of whitewater on Sandy River is heaps of fun. This run of Sandy River is not a location for beginners to come whitewater kayaking or rafting single-handedly. Don't go whitewater kayaking or rafting prior to first checking current conditions; it's hazardous matter. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cascade Brook; in the event that you're looking for a bowling alley nearby, Meadow Lanes Bowling Alley is right next door to Nor-40 Campground.
