Well when we went to visit relative this year we were ready with a converter from our 30amp to the 50amp we had purchased at Wal-Mart and so hopefully they would have room for us this time. We had called early that morning       and we unable to get any body at the campground and so when we arrived at the campground about 10:30 that morning no one was in the office and we saw the hours were 12:00 pm till 6:00 pm and so we found a vacant site and came back   to the office and paid the three day in an envelope supplied at the office. We got a call after the office opened and they told us we would have to move because someone had already rented that site so we were not happy about it but we moved to another site and the office never ask us it we had a 30amp or a 50amp. Ok when we left the spot we had to move from it was still vacant so we think the Cajun campground just wanted somebody that would rent a site for longer than 2or3 night and really didn't care if we stayed there or not. We may or may not stay there next time we go to Port Allen. We have sick relatives there and It was so convenient to stay close to where they live. Also they support   the good Sam's club members which we are a member and they should know what this business is reflecting. Says Linda and Thomas Willeford (Sun, 8 Jun 2008) I've lived in Cajun Country Campground for just over four years now. The people are friendly and it is VERY quiet. You hardly see anyone. Any incidents are promptly taken care of and not repeated. The place is also pet and kid friendly. The sites fill up fast and although the rates are marginally higher than other places, it is WELL worth it! The other places around in Baton Rouge charge just as much or more for shabbier places. CCC is well kept up and clean. Says Jerrica This is a very nice campground.  It is clean, quiet and well-maintained with nice grounds.  There are shade trees, a clean swimming pool, a small play ground, a large pavilion with a stage, two bathhouses with laundry facilities, and a small store.
