Have camped many years at many campgrounds in IL. These campsites are nice, pretty and wooded, however word to the wise, the facilities are disgusting. Port-a-potties were full and smelly the first night, they were not prepared for       a holiday weekend. Bathhouse and real toilets were scarce and out of order many times and when working, they were quite scummy and dirty. Floors extremely muddy. Never saw anyone cleaning. Bring your own toilet paper. We always do,   but rarely must use. Poor directions, no one told us the code to open the gate to our side of the campground the first night. My daughter had to try 4 times to rent a bicycle for a half hour for $5. The young man who was working the rentals, did not tell her any rules about not going to certain parts of the campground-(like where we were staying). Then she was reprimanded for riding the bike to our campsite! No, thanks. Next time I'll pass. There are too many nicer places to camp! Says Teresa O. Swimming pools are always tremendous, and there's one here,   so you could take a dip.
