On day 1 we saw that the old, antiquated a/c blew hot air when you adjusted the dial to COOL. When you moved the dial to HEAT it also blew HOT AIR. We told the office (who was an owner) and they came to ''fix it'' which meant an old, exposed oscillating fan and say: ''open the window. '' The one that everyone at the RV park right behind our room walks by every 10 sec.
Issue had not been fixed by the next EVENING and they lamely offered $20 because ''that is how much it would cost to go to town for a new unit. ''

else ever mentioned that it was broken--that ancient, noisy a/c unit. Also that ''a million people had called'' that day willing to take any room from them. But they are so kind that they let us stay.

Naturally you can locate a delightful pool here, so you can swim a few laps; cool off with a splendid swim. While dropping by this neighborhood in Idaho it's a magnificent idea to go camping too. There's loads of outdoors recreation available close by such as playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so perhaps you want to stay for a while.

There's such a vast number of things to do right next door to Lava Spa Motel, and it is a magnificent escape from the routine.
