We were baiting our fishing rods at the site for twilight fishing when a portly ranger accused us of having a brown bottle in the truck we arrived in. He demanded to look through our coolers and the screen windows of our tents after making a cursory inspection of our site. My friends and I are in       our 30's and 40's but felt like teens. Beautiful campground but not supporting the power hungry peacekeepers of Shady Grove or Lake Lanier. There is lodging where you can stay the night in magnificent comfort, and if you love comfort, there are good cabins here. So many local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back persistently. Everybody needs to go camping for a couple of days occasionally, and Shady Grove - Lake Sidney Lanier in Georgia is exactly what you need. There is so much fun stuff to do right next door to Shady Grove - Lake Sidney Lanier, and what a good place for camping it is. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available nearby such as swimming, playing   golf, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t get bored.
