There are good tent sites here where you can pitch that tent of yours, and of course there are showers at this campground. A store is offered for your convenience at this campground, and don't forget your fishing pole because this place has some fine fishing. There are unsurprisingly restrooms at this campground, and go for a great swim at Markham Meadows Campgrounds, it's invigorating. Salmon River has a good 4.6-mile-from-start-to-finish category II whitewater section nearby, the Old Route 2 to covered bridge at Highway 16 segment. The skilled kayak paddlers should probably stay away from this section of Salmon   River. Don't disregard to check the latest conditions ahead of going whitewater paddling to guarantee your protection.
