Mt Princeton RV Park is a good setting for RV-ing, and Mt Princeton RV Park has some beautiful cabins. A magnificent 6-mile-long whitewater segment on Arkansas River is nearby. This, the East Buena       Vista to Fisherman's Bridge sector, is a grade III. In general this segment of Arkansas River is an exciting place for whitewater paddling. Check current conditions prior to departure on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure.   Mt Princeton RV Park is right next door to Hop Gulch which is without doubt worth visiting. On a great day at Mt Princeton RV Park you can take a hike along the Harvard Trail; you'll probably meet some folks from Buena Vista here. In the winter you may go for a snow mobile ride at Cottonwood Country, and if you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is Salida Golf Club. It's always fun to go for a fishing trip and a good spot to do that is Independent White Water. Going for a hike on the Salt Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and a magnificent way to spend a wintertime day is to rent a snow mobile from Mountain Tech Yamaha. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing   things, what a great earth it would be. Gotta ski! Monarch is a delightful location to do that, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes?
