If you are going whitewater kayaking and rafting, you should always check the situation. The altitude difference is 2,105 feet for a lovely 5.2-mile-in-length hiking trail close by; we are of course speaking about the Granite Chief Trail. A delightful six hours of challenging hiking lies ahead for you along the Granite Chief Trail. With its 1,022 foot elevation difference it's a delightful wilderness trail; the Mount Rose Trail is 6.2 miles of nice backcountry backpacking.
