A grade III-V, 3-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater run can be found on close by Kaweah River, the Dinley Bridge to North Fork Bridge portion. The Dinley Bridge to North Fork Bridge portion of Kaweah River is suited for kayak paddlers who have been raft paddling for a period of time. Don't go raft paddling in advance of first checking the latest conditions; it's dangerous stuff. Atwell Hockett Trail is 17.2 miles from beginning to end. This gorgeous backpacking   trail has an altitude variation of 3,021 feet.
