This is a splendid scene for RV-ing, and continue to stay vigorous during your stay by playing volley ball. Of course there are restrooms here; feel free to bring the dog here since pet animals       are allowed. There are showers here at Ponderosa Park Campground, and there are tent sites here where you can pitch a tent. A store is available for your convenience at this campground, and Ponderosa Park Campground has a playground,   so your children could play. There's a tremendous swimming pool here at Ponderosa Park Campground, so you may swim a few laps. There is wifi at this campground, so you may check your email, and for people who like to play horseshoes this is a perfect place. American River - South Fork has a nearby whitewater bit; the Lotus Campground to Folsom Lake segment is a great 15-mile-in-length category III+ bit of whitewater. This segment of American River - South Fork is suggested for whitewater paddlers of medium knowledge. Check current conditions previous to going on the whitewater, or else it's not safe and sound. Good hiking is available along the Nevada Point Trail, as expected you could   also pop by Bass Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
