Our neighbor told us about this lovely place. Our family took a trip this Nov. ,the week of the 20th. Our Host of the campground was a very friendly lady - she was very       helpful and informative. She gave us a key to the gate, which was locked each evening at sundown , but you could come and go as you please , just remember to lock the gate. Our children loved feeding the wild life everyday '' lots   of different birds '' , This is a very quiet campground. The Lake there was Posted though for NO Swimming or No eating the fish . But, you could rent boats and paddle boats there. While visiting there , there are so many attractions near by , like the Monterey Bay Aquarium , The Roaring Camps Railroad , about a hour away is the Winchester Mystery House , We went to them all ! If you want a wonderful peaceful place to camp , This is the place ! It has flush toilets and the campground was always very clean.!There are only 28 camp spots - so enjoy and visit Pinto Lake soon for some R & R ! Julie P. from Granite bay, Ca. Says Julie P. There are great tent sites here where you may raise   that tent of yours. Pinto Lake Park is a campground where campfires are welcome.
