Reservations are not required but there are a limited number of weekends that the campground is reserved by large groups, usually several months in advance.? Contact is through the Mosquito Volnteer Fire Association 530-622-6832(leave a clear message) and we can tell you if the weekend is reserved. We can reserve a spot for you if you       wish. If you are fortunte to be ther in the mid winter months you may see a bald eagle or osprey, not to mention all the other wildlife the rest of the year. Says Leslie Baumgartner   There is wifi at this campground, so you may access the web; swimming at Finnon Lake is perfect exercise and lots of amusement too. California is a fine outdoors state. You can ride horses here at Finnon Lake. Finnon Lake is one of the places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are water hookups; going for an outstanding hike is always amusing here. Camping out definitely is a pleasant thing to do, and Finnon Lake in California is a fine place to go. You could play golf here, and there are of course restrooms at this campground. There's a great restaurant that cooks great food, and if you have a thing about boating you're in luck, boating is perfect here at Finnon Lake.   Scores of folks camp here for the purpose of being near Marshall Gold Discovery State Park.
