There is so much exciting       stuff in close proximity to Riverview Campground, and what a nice spot for camping it is. A lot of people stay here so they can go to Lake Guntersville State Park. All the jolly people and the competently maintained facilities   have people coming from far and wide. Riverview Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the people in Guntersville. Nearby you run into the CR 240 to Wheeler Lake section, a category V stretch of whitewater. It's a delightful 4-mile-from-start-to-finish stretch on Shoal Creek. You are probable to get drenched raft paddling this stretch of Shoal Creek, so you should be set for that. Naturally, raft paddling is fun but treacherous; check the situation ahead of going.
