If you love the outdoors,       you won’t be let down; there's whitewater paddling, fishing, playing golf, and swimming, so probably you want to stick around. The caring operators of the campground and the competently taken care of facilities have folks coming from   far and near. Get your sleeping bag packed and start your engine; Horse Pens 40 Campground in Alabama is a nice place to go. Horse Pens 40 Campground is a very popular campground among campers from Ashville. Nearby there is a wonderful 2.2-mile-long type V+ whitewater segment, the Loop Road to Beason Cove Road section of Gulf Creek. Don't go kayak paddling on this segment of Gulf Creek unless you feel your kayak paddling capabilities are very wonderful. Whitewater rapids are dangerous things, so you should check restrictions before you go. There's some flowing water nearby, Logan Branch is a stream you can take a look at while here. For all you boaters, General Lee Marina and Camp   is a tremendous marina in close proximity.
