Buckskin Gulch Virtual Tour
Along the Utah-Arizona border runs the deepest, darkest slot canyon in the world. Carved by eons of flashfloods, the canyon runs over 10 Km through the red rock Paria Wilderness. Those entering are warned by a park service sign at the head of the canyon to "not expect a rapid reponse if you run into trouble". Indeed, a broken ankle in this part of the country can spell certain doom for the unprepared.
