The Advanced Elements DragonFly kayak features a topside constructed with PVC laminated high-denier polyester and a hull of PVC tarpaulin. The outer cover provides as additional layer of protection for the inner tube. The perimeter of the cover is electronically welded so it's watertight. When the tube is inflated the outer cover takes form and the kayak becomes rigid.
