The Tempest is the first four season tent in BD's Escalante line and its design is based on the Torre. With room for two, and two doors and two vestibules, the Tempest's four Easton 7075 aluminum poles give this tent the necessary strength to endure extreme weather. Users will love the amount of space they have in the Tempest, as the shape optimizes usable area by uniting steep walls with a simple floor design. Asymmetrical in profile, it stands nearly four feet tall (1.22 m) at the peak. Weatherproof vents at the apex of each vestibule allow for efficient airflow, even during the heaviest of downpours. The Tempest has RF welded corner seams and the two vestibules are seam taped, but like most of the Escalante line, most seams require sealing with the provided sealant. And like all Bibler tents, the Tempest is lightweight at only 2.72 kg (6 lb.). Comfortable, bomber and fully loaded... mountaineers and outdoor fans will have a tough time finding a better tent at a better price. Twistlock pole ties.
