Says Ralph's lil river grocery and grill I travel around the United States and outwest is the most enjoyable only because they have ''non motorized wilderness'' areas     on BLM land and in certain Wilderness areas.  It would be great to stop all motorized activities in the LRC Canyon area.  There are very few areas in Alabama, if any, that are non motorized.  I wish all of the Wilderness areas were non-motorized and only make exceptions for the people who have a disability. Says Michael PLEASE ! DON'T STOP ATV RIDING. AT LITTLE RIVER CAYON,I`M 56 yrs old I come from arab al too ride & usally spend money their when I'm there. Don't let the people that rides horses let this become their place only & hunter`s . They will also have damaged the land with their horses & the hunters won't walk. Little River Canyon National Preserve has fine outdoors recreation, so you may have a good time during your stay. There are many enjoyable things to do for everybody. Very glorious water scenery is available at Fort Payne Dam in close proximity to Little River Canyon National Preserve. Econo Lodge Fort Payne is a delightful place to get some rest, and camping at Adams Outdoors is always a fine experience. But wait, there's more to do next to Little River Canyon National Preserve. Big Spring is a beautiful location to go to while you're at Little River Canyon National Preserve. Little River Canyon National Preserve is great enough to spend more than a day at, De Soto State Park is a great local campground. From Little River Canyon National Preserve you obtain   a great vista of Mount Brandon. Terrapin Hills Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Johnnies Creek. This is a good wilderness neighborhood that everybody enjoys.
