Come and enjoy our full service RV park and stay on one of our beautiful sites nestled on the creek amongst the redwood trees. California camping has never been so beautiful. There are many things to see and do in the area as Mendocino county is noted for its rich history and natural beauty. A town rich in history with beautiful scenery, from rolling hills to picturesque ranches dotting the landscape. Named after Hiram Willits, it was settled by pioneering ranchers in the 1850's. Willits is the eastern terminus of the world famous ''Skunk Train'' which thousands of travelers continue to enjoy and ride each year.
Willits is also home to the Mendocino County Museum. The museum has one of the finest collections of Pomo and Yuki Baskets in the world. The Roots of Motive Power Antique Steam Logging Equipment Display is an actual working exhibit of logging equipment used at the turn-of-the-century. And, Willits Frontier Days, the major annual 4th of July event, boasts of being the ''Oldest Continuous Rodeo in the State of Califo... |

Pomo Campground
 | 18 miles away fantastic looking place-- lots of pine trees and clean facilities. . . but service?? ouch! They are the best game in town and they know it! You will get what they give you or you won't get it. . . be extra polite and humble. . . we suck up every year and beg and say thank you for your help until it hurts --- and we hate them! But we love the place!... |

Hidden Pines Campgrounds
 | 18 miles away I have lived at hidden pines campground for a few months now and it has been a perfect experience. I cant remember a more problem free time.ÿ Friendly people Quiet nights and a beautiful view.ÿ And the prices are more than fair.ÿ I would recommend Hidden Pines Campground to everyone for what ever purpose they could find from a peaceful home atmosphere to a vacation stop with unbeatable access to the ocean.ÿ A+++ÿ Rabbittini@gmail.com...I have been coming to Hidden Pines Campground for 3 years. The owners are great and they help you out any way they can. You are a 5 minute walk to Pudding Creek Beach. It's awesome, like your own private beach and it's dog friendly. I have a doxie and she loves it there, she can run free and play with the other dogs. The campground is a few minutes from town and a short walk to the Botanical Gardens. Hidden Pines is people and dog friendly too. You are made to feel as if you are one of the family. They have a store that sells original paintings, one of a kind jewelery and much more. There are clean restrooms, showers and a heated pool in the summer time. I recommend the campground to all my fiends. I know that I'll keep coming back because of the great hospitality and the beach were my dog can run free and I can enjoy some awesome sunsets. Maybe I'll see ya there.... |
