...rt was very clean and what made this resort stand alone is the people. We pulled in to set up and we had 3 seasonal campers come to us and offer to help! This resort is primarily seasonal campers with little transient traffic. This has to be the quietest park we have ever stayed in.
The pool and hot tub were great. They were heated to a comfortable temperature. The washrooms are old but spotless and the showers are hot and free. You can tell they are working to make this resort a gem. During our 2 week stay they pulled out 2 older trailers and after talking to the residents there will be more to go.
If you are looking for a place to have your younger children entertained this may not be the place to go. The activities planned for them are limited.
The wild life in the park is immense. From the edge of the Myakka River you can see the biggest alligators you ever want to get that close to in the wild. The fishing from the dock was quite good.
