Lago Caonillas 1 PHOTO Visited Puerto Rico a few months ago and Lago Caonillas in Utuado, which is a real beauty.  While there visited Los Pinos Lake Resort and plan to stay there next time.  They have a webpage:  http://www.lospinoslakeresort.com/... It just takes your breath away. I lived in Utuado when I was a teen, and enjoyed every minute of it. The peace and the quiet is very welcoming. The stillness of it all, is just one of the wonderful reasons why Puerto Rico...lo hace mejor!... Lago de Matrullas I was born in Matrullas in 1953. I left the Island in 1970 in seach of a better life. When I returned to the Island for a visit I was in awe of the beauty of Lago de Matrullas. It took me to grow up to appreciate the beauty of the lake and its surroundings. Que Linda,la Lago de Matrullas!... Areciebo River A new highway is being constructed. This section of the river will be gone.... Anasco River 24 miles away Does any one know anything about this river and paddeling in puerto rico in general? Cant seem to find much on the internet. Is it safe to camp, leave a car, stuff like that. Any info would help....
