We have had a really bad drought this year. In fact, one of the most severe in history. I'm sorry you had that experience. Most locals can tell visitors about the condition of the creek, as any of us could have cautioned you about the weather conditions causing lack of creek water. We did hit several class III to IV's but then the creek dried up about 2 miles before Guntersville. It sucked. If you go, leave in the morning and make sure the water level is up.... |
