I think the area is beautiful and i was picturing how it would look with picnic tables and few BBQ pits in a park like setting. Its a beautiful area and very peaceful there. Extended Hours Early Season Skiing
Mt. Rose will offer extended hours (early season) and lights have been added to the Show-Off area to provide early evening operations near the main lodge. Park features will be available in this area adjacent to the main lodge to capture the excitement of being one of the first resorts open in the Lake Tahoe area. Early season opening will also be complemented by the addition of three snowmaking machines to improve our snow base at every opportunity that cold temperatures permit.
