Cedar Grove Beach 16 miles away Cedar Grove Beach ceased being a park in the 60's and is now my private residence. Would welcome any pictures of the park in the 30's,40's,50's,60's. Was the site of many picnics by farm bureau, churches, and other groups from the area. Steam ships and cruises from Baltimore and Annapolis visited for the day during that period....Why is this still on the list when this beach supposedly has not existed in many years.... Conquest Beach 18 miles away We are from Pa and drove 2 hrs. to Conquest Beach on a motorcycle and once we arrived there we were told it was a private beach and I might add NO-ONE was there on the beach. To add to our frustration, they wouldn't even allow us to go to the sands end and look at the beach! Bottom line...........you need to make reservations to even get on the beach!... Greenbelt Park 49 miles away Regular camping fees at this time (06/08) are $16/night. I have been camping at Greenbelt Park every summer for a week for the last 7 years. It was always at $14 up till last year when it went up to $16. Great Park though! Love it!... Ski Roundtop 88 miles away Visited here last winter and had a pretty good time.  The 100 acres of terrain was definitely fun to explore and was suitable for any level of skiing. I decided to visit after reading an article about the resort. The place lived up to just about everything i was expecting, so I would definitely recommend it!... Ski Liberty 98 miles away I loved Ski Liberty when I stayed there a few years ago for a weekend. It was the most fun I've ever had at a ski area. There was a great snow storm while we were there and the conditions were awesome. I'm coming back this year with my children and look forward to sharing your mountain with them....
