Coweeman River
21 miles away
If you choose to run the canyon be advised about half way through in low water conditions there is a slot falls there narrow and fast once you get to the other side its all private property till you get to the Kelso dike . the only good take out for large boats is at the mouth of the river and on the other side of the cowlitz about 100 yards up stream. the cowlitz runs fast most of the time . there is also a large tree across the river about a mile below the gravel pit. It would be a sweeper in high water. I also find the milage on this chart to be wacko some close some not even in the target. its a nice float but that canyon is dangerous ....

Nisqually River
23 miles away
I noticed you would like a little info on rafting the Nisqualy river. I raft the river alot every year and would say it is a very mild float. From Mckenna to the Nisqualy pines park in yelm is very mellow and there are no places to worry about. You can make this float with minimal knowledge in almost anything that floats. There are 3 small/fun rapids sections....I would like to know if anyone has been down this and can let me know of any log jams that are on the Mckenna-Hydro stretch that need to be avoided....

White Pass
96 miles away
...ountiful snowfall (350'' in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades.
The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 33 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 43 percent toward intermediates and 24 percent toward beginners.
Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes.
White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the most experienced boarder. It offers a half-pipe.
It's got one of the most scenic and well-maintained cross-country areas in the Northwest. The 18 km of double track, which allows both classic and skating, circles a picturesque lake and then climbs into the Wenatchee National Forest.
The White Pass Learning Center has developed a wide variety of programs for all ages and ...
