Potawatomie Recreation Area
11 miles away This is a nice, family oriented campground. It is the quietest campground I've ever been to. It's quiet in the evening and the morning too. It's wooded, has a decent swiming area, fishing, nice playground, and the bathrooms are quite clean. Also, the people are friendly and they don't overcharge by too much in the camp store. There are badmitten, volleyball nets and horseshoe pits. I would certainly return....
Waffle Farm Campground
14 miles away Waffle Farm is one of the best Campgrounds I have ever been to in my 40 years of Camping. It's clean and has many activities whether it is fishing, Miniature Golf, Swimming or just setting around the campfire and enjoying the wild life. It's a fantastic place for the Elderly and the Young!!!! It's a Campground everyone should visit at least once and after that you will go back. ...
Bittersweet
47 miles away Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area....In my oppinion Bittersweet ski area of Michigan is quite a good place for a bit of winter fun. I must say the lift system is quite impressive for a resort this size and everything is well maintained. It's quite a pleasure to come here to ski....
Timber Ridge
48 miles away It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill....
Cannonsburg
50 miles away This is like a local little ski hill but places like Cannonsburg are good when you really gotta go skiing for a few hours. It's not like Colorado but it's nice to get your ski muscles warmed up a bit and suck in some refreshing winter air....
