Julia Lake
I am selling 2.3 acres of very desireable land on Breckenridge Mt., Kern County in the Mt. Diablo Meridian. It is thickly forested and sits right on Breckenridge Roaf, surrounded by Nat'l Forest It has been in my family for nearly 100 years and is privately-owned. If I do not receive response to my notice by September, I shall sell to USFS....
Hobo Campground
16 miles away I camped here about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. I did not do any white water rafting but I did do some hiking around the campground which was quite nice. Camp sites were clean and far enough apart to have decent privacy....
Kern River
18 miles away ...tin coordinates are just wrong. Those coordinates would put you in the middle of some class VI rapids (IE unrunable) There are actually two putin locations. 1. LAT 35.439250 LON -118.802450 This put in is impossible to get to without trespassing. So you need special permission. It's located right below the Rio Bravo Hydroelectric Dam. This section is actually a class IV followed by two class V's. I've done the entire Kern, it's definitely V. You can only do this extra section during very high water years because the Power plant diverts most of the water along this stretch. 2. LAT 35.429084 LON 118.825602 Also, on private property with no public access. Only Search and Rescue, Kayak Olympic Team, and River's End Rafting have access to this putin. There is also a public access point on racheria rd. There is a little trail to get there just past the gated community gates. I believe there is still a sign. It's not a long hike. That point gives you 5 miles of very fun class II and III rapids, swimming areas, rope swings, etc. Be aware that many people have died along this section o...

Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area
64 miles away 1 PHOTO Hi, please take a look at the attached photo. I took it today in La Jolla Canyon, at the water fall (dry now). Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable....

West Resort: The West Resort is filled with a seemingly endless assortment of technical trails and skillfully-designed terrain features to satisfy the freestyle culture. It is the more youthful of the three areas and the site of many on-hill contests, promotions and live performances.
