With its location being in the northern part of Raymond, the RV Park is quiet and secure. On a day-to-day basis, the Park management and the Raymond Police Department provide security.
All the RV spaces are pull thru sites with full hookups including cable TV. Hot showers are available for all RVers and tenters for $. 25. Nightly rates are $20. 00 for RVers and $10. 00 for tenters. Monthly and weekly rates are available.
In addition to campers, Timberland RV is home to ducks, crows, pigeons, woodpeckers, blue jays, robins and sometimes a goose or even a swan and numerous other birds, including the heron (crane). Depending on what season it is, deer with babies and even an occasional otter can be sighted. So while you are visiting please help us to preserve our natural environment for all to enjoy.

(…)...As of August 2008, Wynoochee Valley Road (NFD 22) is closed for 13 miles starting at the intersection with Cougar-Smith north to Camp Grisdale every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We got stuck at the intersection for 3? hours on Thursday, August 7, as the road didn't open until 6:30 p.m. Rumor is that the paving work and road closures will continue for the next two years....WHEN YOU TAKE THE HIKE AROUND THE LAKE BE SURE YOU TAKE WATER AND FOOD. Ya, I own a piece of land that you floated past right after you get out of Schafer park --- has been in my family for near 4 generations now....
I floated down from the bridge at Kelley road on an intertube, it was very relaxing and there were very few rapids, this of course is during the Summer and I wouldnt recomend going in the Winter, the river gets about 7 feet higher in the Winter... |
