I currently live at New Buffalo and, just to let everyone know, it is no longer an official bed and breakfast. We are a working farm and teaching center for sustainable living. The 5,000 square foot main building (including the kitchen) has been recently renovated, and is really quite remarkable. Even in the depth of winter, the rooms stay toasty warm with a combination of solar power and a large, masonry stove, and in the summer the building remains cool and comfortable. Art abounds here, and we even have our very own artist-in-residence.< BR> The history of the community is rich, and we are happy to have visitors. With advanced notice, we are pleased to give tours and host the occasional overnight guest for a reasonable rate.
