Visit Fallen Ash Creek if you're here at Blue Heron Campground and Resort, of course you could also go to Ozark Acres Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. If you come to this campground, you will have a delightful time for sure. Whitewater paddling is great on Buffalo River. Blue Heron Campground and Resort mostly gets a large amount of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Blue Heron Campground and Resort get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Blue Heron Campground and Resort tend to be in the 20's.
