The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lost Trail Powder Mountain, and Bitterroot National Forest is both good and stunning. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mountain Spirit Inn; Ward Mountain Trail is a great local trail, and obviously, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Como Lake and Painted Rocks Lake at Painted Rocks State Park are lakes around here. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kootenai Creek, and getting to Southwick Creek from Mountain Spirit Inn is trouble-free.
The Bitterroot Hide-A-Way RV Park is one of the places to camp here in the Bitterroot Range. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Bitterroot Range will keep you coming back again and again. Have a good hiking adventure along the Lookout Mountain Trail, Tin Cup Trail, and McQuirk Gulch are also wonderful places to hike. As if Mountain Spirit Inn wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
