This is a magnificent location for tent camping. Fires are welcome here at Sawtooth - Sunny Gulch. So much entertaining stuff near Sawtooth - Sunny Gulch, and it positively is a nice campground. There's more to do in close proximity to Sawtooth - Sunny Gulch other than just hanging out such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. Camping in Idaho is such a fun activity. You can take your old pets, pet animals are allowed. Loads of folks stay at this campground so they can go to Challis National Forest. Sawtooth | |
- Sunny Gulch is enormously popular with the residents of Stanley. Get your camping stuff packed and get your wheels rolling; Sawtooth - Sunny Gulch, Idaho is a nice site for getting out. The staff that operates this campground
| | and the ably looked after facilities attract folks from near and far. Salmon River has a good 13-mile-in-distance class III-IV whitewater part close by, the Stanley to Old Sunbeam Dam segment. This part of Salmon River is a cool part for kayak paddling. Always check the situation in advance of a trip kayak paddling because kayak paddling is a hazardous thing to do. Everybody close by loves skiing at Soldier Mountain; do take a hike on the Bull Moose Trail. Sawtooth National Forest is a great place, and folks from Stanley love to come here. Loads of fun is at this campground. Redfish Lake Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Challis National Forest is a good spot to take a look at. If | |
