The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always pretty.

    for too long, it's time to go camping, and PG and E - Kings River Area - Trapper Springs in California is a pleasant place to go. Nearby you bump into the Above Wishon Reservoir sector, a grade IV-V segment of whitewater. It's a magnificent
 6-mile-in-distance segment on Kings River - Middle Fork. In general this segment of Kings River - Middle Fork is a difficult place for whitewater paddling. Whitewater rapids are hazardous phenomenons, so you must check the situation prior to departure. A scenic great outdoors trail around here, 16.8 miles in length, featuring an altitude difference of 2,167 feet is Red Mountain Trail. Red Mountain Trail requires two days to backcountry walk; it's a hard great outdoors trail. Very fine water scenery is available at Courtright Dam close to PG and E - Kings River Area - Trapper Springs. Sandy Cove Beach is close to PG and E - Kings River Area - Trapper Springs and is a lovely beach to go  
to; in the event that you have a boat, Huntington Lake Resort Marina is a good marina. This is such a magnificent campground.
