As expected there are restrooms here. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen.
It's not possible to run out of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Buffalo Creek; what a wonderful place for camping it is.

 Creek is a wonderful local campground if you happen to be in Wyoming.
The Forest Service Road bridge Close to county line to Highway 190 portion on Powder River - Middle Fork is a nearby type II-V whitewater stretch, 12 miles from start to finish. Only those skilled in whitewater boating should attempt to run this stretch of Powder River - Middle Fork. Whitewater rapids are dangerous occurrences, so you must check circumstances prior to departure. There are delightful places to explore along the E-k Trail; a day on the slopes of Big Horn is just what you need. Don't leave Buffalo Creek without first going for a hike along the Okie Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Buffalo
Creek. The wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
