There is so much enjoyable stuff in the vicinity of South Cottonwood, and campgrounds like these are tremendous.
Wyoming is a tremendous place for campers. Such a good pick of attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come.
As if South Cottonwood wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's impossible to get bored. The Wyoming Range scenery is always stunning. The friendly reception and the perfectly taken care of facilities attract people from far and wide.
We should all go for a weekend of camping once in a while, and South Cottonwood
    in Wyoming is precisely the place.
While you're here at South Cottonwood and you want to go for a horse ride, you may pop by Timberline Lodge. Hiking is a popular thing to do around South Cottonwood; Emigrant Trail is a good local
 trail. Bridger-Teton National Forest is a magnificent place to go if you're at South Cottonwood; there's fine hiking along the Wyoming Range Trail. This campground is so good. Visit Bare Creek since you're here at South Cottonwood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the High Line Trail. Good hiking is available along the Old Indian Trail. Summertime highs at South Cottonwood commonly tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at South Cottonwood dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. It is very dried out here at South Cottonwood regularly. May is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
