The 126 acres of skiing land at White Pine is prized by skiers from far and wide. White Pine has 30% challenging ski slopes and 70% blue and green ski
 slopes. There are 25 ski slopes to choose from and 3 great ski lifts at the nearby ski hill White Pine. White Pine has on average 17 feet of beautiful snow every year and has a nice 1,100-foot elevation difference. Whitewater rapids are risky phenomenons, so you have to check conditions before you go. The Half Moon Trail is a great hiking trail next to Half Moon Wildlife Management Area - Pole Creek, and it is always fun to take a fishing trip and a fine spot to do that is Box R Ranch. Going for a hike on the Fayette Lake Trail is always a great adventure, and White Pine is a very popular ski area around here. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer.  
For all you boaters, Lakeside Lodge Resort and Marina is a good marina close at hand, and you can go for a hike on the Grouse Mountain Ski Trail.
