For skilled raft paddlers this stretch of Carbon River is a fun place to run. Whitewater rapids are treacherous things, so you ought to check restrictions before you go. The 1,081 foot height variation Paul Peak Trail is a stunning spot to go backcountry trekking; it's 3 miles of pleasant backcountry trekking. You should set aside three hours to walk the Paul Peak

Trail. The variation in height is 3,790 feet for a pretty 4.8-mile-from-start-to-finish hiking trail in the vicinity; we are naturally talking about the Ipsut Creek Trail.
