The red and black trails at Crystal Mountain account for 35% of the trails, and they are especially great; novices and young ones are in luck too, 65% of the 2,600 acres of skiable terrain are covered by intermediate or beginner trails. The Silver Springs Campground to West Fork White portion on White River is a close by category III whitewater run, 10 miles long. This portion of White River is glorious for those with a bit of raft paddling experience. Whitewater rapids are treacherous occurrences, so you ought to check circumstances  
in advance of a trip. Sun Top Trail is 7 miles long. This pretty hiking and backpacking trail has a variation between top and bottom of 3,225 feet.
